Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask Her Majesty's Government, further to the answer by Lord O'Shaughnessy on 30 October (HL Deb, col 1160), when they anticipate that the Green Paper on children and young people’s mental health will be published; and what plans they have to ensure that that Green Paper assesses differences in mental health treatment resulting from geographical location.

We plan to publish the Green Paper on children and young people’s mental health by the end of this year.

The Green Paper will include specific proposals to improve provision and access to mental health services for all children who need them irrespective of geographical location.
