Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government which of the recommendations of the Review by the National Data Guardian for Health and Care of Data Security, Consents and Opt-Outs published in June they intend to treat as formal recommendations to which they will provide a response.

The Department welcomed Dame Fiona Caldicott’s Review of Data Security, Consents and Opt-Outs and, following conclusion of a public consultation exercise, will respond to all recommendations in due course.
