Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government how many chief executives of national government bodies sponsored by the Department of Health earn more than the Prime Minister.

We have defined “national government bodies sponsored by the Department of Health” as the Department’s executive agencies and arm’s length bodies. Of these bodies, 12 chief executives earn more than the Prime Minister’s salary of £142,500.
