Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what percentage of the South Tees Development Corporation is funded by the public purse.

The Government has provided £5 million of grant to the Tees Valley Combined Authority to support the operations of the South Tees Development Corporation in 2018/19 and 2019/20. The latest budget plan for the development corporation over these 2 years outlines expenditure of £7.572 million. The actual amounts spent, and the sources of the income will be available in the statement of accounts for those years when published.
