Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what discussions they have had with the government of Israel to ensure that freedom of the press is protected in (1) East Jerusalem, (2) Gaza, and (3) the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel.

The UK is committed to the protection of media freedom around the world. We continue to reiterate the importance of a free and open press, and freedom of expression to the Israeli Government and Palestinian Authority.
