Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many people have been diagnosed with sleep disorders in each of the last five years.

Data on the number of people diagnosed with sleep disorders is not collected. Estimates suggest that disorders of sleep are common, with conditions such as insomnia affecting around one in every three people in the United Kingdom.
