MHCLG Ministers have had regular discussions with the directly elected regional Mayors in 2020, both bilaterally and through fora such as the M9 Group of Mayors, the London Transition Board and the Economic Recovery Working Group. Most recently, the Minister for Regional Growth and Local Government met the M9 Group of Mayors and the Leader of West Yorkshire Combined Authority on 22 September, along with the Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury.
