It is our priority to ensure that everyone receives the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

On 18 September 2020, the Government published ‘Adult social care – our COVID-19 winter plan 2020 to 2021’. The guidance sets out the National Health Service policy that clinical decision making should always be personalised and never done on a blanket basis. This includes decisions on admission to hospital and on the use of ambulances.
