Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what representations he has made to the Saudi Arabian authorities on the effects on civilians of conflict in Yemen.

We remain in close contact with the Government of Saudi Arabia about Yemen. The Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, my right hon. Friend the Member for Runnymede and Weybridge (Mr Hammond) held discussions with his Saudi counterpart in Paris last week, where he emphasised the importance of moving towards a political process and sustained humanitarian access.
