The Department of Health and Social Care is working with the Department for Education and education providers to ensure clear local arrangements whereby local Health Protection Teams work with schools, colleges, universities and other education providers to provide advice and guidance where new cases of COVID-19 are linked to education settings. Advice and information on the NHS Test and Trace service, including eligibility for testing, access to testing and arrangements for contact tracing, forms an integrated part of overall guidance for education providers.
