Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many people have been given a diagnosis of Lyme disease in the UK in the last five years.

Public Health England (PHE) reports data for reference laboratory confirmed cases of Lyme disease in England and Wales. Collated United Kingdom-wide data is available up to 2015 and can be found in the PHE annual Zoonoses reports, available at:
