Consistent with its core statutory function, Transport for the North’s (TfN) will continue to produce a Strategic Transport Plan (STP) for the North of England that outlines local and regional transport priorities. The Department is already in discussions with TfN about the upcoming STP and will continue to engage with TfN as this develops.
