Question to the Department for International Trade:
To ask the Secretary of State for International Trade, if she will publish her Department’s business case for the establishment of a dedicated Trade Negotiation Facility.
A dedicated Trade Negotiation Facility is one option currently being explored as a means to support future trade negotiations. No decisions have been made.
Potential venues could not be disclosed in the interests of commercial confidentiality and competitiveness. Any future decision will be subject to approval by the Cabinet Office and HM Treasury, and to standard spending protocols.
However, venues previously considered and discounted in London were 1 Drummond Gate and 1 Canada Square.
