Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, if he will take steps to improve provision of health and social care data to assist in research into cancer treatment and other fields of medical care.
This question was answered on 26th April 2017
This is a priority already recognised by the Government.
Through the Personalised Health and Care 2020 programme, we will undertake work to improve the quality, availability and integrity of health data for outcomes for research.
