As part of the ‘Schools that work for everyone’ consultation, we sought views from respondents about requirements that may apply to new or expanding selective schools. These requirements would be in addition to those that already apply to selective schools, including under the Equality Act 2010. This includes making reasonable adjustments so that all children, including those with special educational needs, can access their provision and facilities.

The consultation has closed, and we are analysing the responses. We expect to publish our formal response to the consultation in the spring.
