I speak regularly with the US Secretary of Defense and my other counterparts in the Global Coalition on the Counter Daesh campaign. All my counterparts recognise the importance of minimising civilian casualties in taking the fight to Daesh. The Coalition applies a rigorous targeting process to air strikes taking strict measures to minimise risk while providing the support needed on the ground and has shown that it will investigate any incidents reported to it.
