Help to Buy Scheme: Leasehold

Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:
To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, if he will make it his policy to stop providing Government support through the Help to Buy scheme for new houses sold on a leasehold basis.
This question was answered on 26th April 2017
In a speech on the 28 March 2017 the Secretary of State said that he will look to ensure Help to Buy Equity Loans are only used to support new build houses on acceptable terms.
