Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many persons sentenced to 12 months or less have been supervised by the Community Rehabilitation Company in Wales since that Company was established.

The Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC) in Wales was established on 1 June 2014. However, the statutory duty for CRCs to supervise offenders released into the community from custodial sentences of 12 months or less came into force with the Offender Rehabilitation Act on 1 February 2015. Between 1 February 2015 and 30 September 2016, 3,315 such offenders were released into supervision under Wales CRC.
