The UK was concerned by the escalation in violence on 4 July that resulted in two civilian deaths and one wounded in the Azerbaijani settlement of Alxanli. The UK regrets the loss of life in the conflict and continues to urge the sides to exercise restraint and work with the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe's (OSCE) Minsk Group to negotiate a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
