Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what estimate she has made of the number of vexatious applications taken out against their victim by a person convicted of (a) stalking or (b) domestic abuse in the family or civil courts in each of the last three years.

The information requested is not held centrally. We are determined to improve the family justice response to stalking and domestic abuse and are legislating to prevent abusers from questioning their victims in person in family proceedings.
