The Government make its determinations on pay awards informed by recommendations from the independent NHS Pay Review Body. The Government takes into account all the evidence submitted to the NHS Pay Review Body by a range of stakeholders including the Agenda for Change trades unions, NHS Employers and NHS Providers on behalf of National Health Service employing organisations, and HM Treasury.
