Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, if he will respond to the recommendations made by the Eighth Report of the Justice Committee of Session 2014-15, HC311, on the impact of changes to civil legal aid under Part 1 of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012; and if he will make a statement.

The Ministry of Justice response to the Justice Committee’s report on the impact of changes to civil legal aid under Part 1 of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 was laid and published as a command paper on 14 July.
