Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, if it is his policy to ensure all car manufacturing companies provide consumers with appropriately detailed technical information when informing the owner of the vehicle they need to be serviced.

The General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR) require manufacturers to supply information of the vehicles they are selling; this information is found in the handbook and contains all the technical information about the vehicle, including servicing requirements.
