Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:
To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, what assessment he has made of the economic effect of the introduction of the Business Rate Retention Scheme in April 2013; and if he will make a statement.

The Government published "Business rates retention scheme: the economic benefits of local business rates retention" in May 2012.
