I am aware of the tragic death of a British national in Qatar and my sympathies are with his family at this difficult time.

We are in touch with his family and are providing support and advice on local arrangements. I welcome the swift investigation into his death and await the outcome of this. We are in touch with local authorities to press for progress with the case.
