Question to the Department for International Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for International Trade, for what reasons his Department decided not to provide funding for the Drinktec trade fair in Munich on 11-15 September 2017.

The Department for International Trade (DIT) is currently working with our delivery partners to agree the 2017/18 Tradeshow Access Programme. Funding for the Drinktec trade fair in Munich will be considered along with all other events proposed for support.

Financial support and the trade shows selected for support are determined in consultation with relevant stakeholders, including Trade Challenge Partners, DIT approved delivery partners. The final 2017/18 Tradeshow Access Programme will be announced in due course.
