Claimants have to meet certain requirements in order to receive their Universal Credit payment. This will be based on individual and household information, characteristics and earnings. Work-related requirements are set in discussion with the claimant, tailored to their capability and circumstances, taking into account any health condition or disability they may have. The requirements a claimant is asked to meet will be clearly set out in their Claimant Commitment.
