Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many complaints the Child Maintenance Service has received from victims of domestic violence.

Data is collected clerically and breakdowns based on personal circumstances of the complainant, such as whether they are a victim of domestic violence, is not routinely recorded and could only be provided at a disproportionate cost.

Statistics on the number of complaints received under the Child Maintenance Service are published in the Child Maintenance Service 2012 Scheme - Experimental Statistics.
