Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, if he will make the silicone cooling cap available on the NHS for cancer patients receiving chemotherapy, to prevent hair loss.

In the absence of guidance from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, decisions on the availability of medical devices are for individual National Health Service organisations taking into account the available evidence.
