Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether security details for dignitaries visiting COP26 will be required to adhere to Scottish and UK laws on the carrying of firearms and weapons.

While it would not be appropriate to comment on the specific security arrangements that are being put in place for COP26, it is the case that UK firearms law will apply.
