The EU has not to date asked for compensation for EU funded infrastructure. No decision has been made yet as to whether to claim compensation in the future. The UK is focused on preventing these demolitions from happening in the first place, and supporting those affected. We are working with other EU member states to make clear to Israel the need to provide a reasonable means for Palestinians to gain planning permission in Israeli controlled areas of the West Bank (Area C) and the need to halt all demolitions until a more effective process is in-place.
