Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many mental health trusts the Care Quality Commission has identified as being short-staffed in each of the last five years.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.
The CQC has advised it does not hold centrally information on which trusts have been identified as being short staffed.
