Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what the earliest date is on which the Government expects (a) to appoint a replacement for Sir Ivan Rogers and (b) for his successor to be in post.

Sir Tim Barrow was appointed as the new Permanent Representative to the European Union on Wednesday 4 January, and has already taken up his role.
