Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, if he will make an assessment of different approaches to anaesthesiology for hysteroscopy procedures used by the NHS.

The National Health Service carries out hysteroscopy procedures in accordance with guidelines for clinical practice in gynaecology which are issued by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, the Royal College of Gynaecology and the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy.
