Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to the Answer of 9 December 2016 to Question 56017, what comparative assessment he has made of care providers' compliance with the national minimum wage and the business failure of such providers.

The Department does not make comparative assessment of whether care providers are compliant with the national minimum wage and the business failure of such providers.

Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs have responsibility for investigating and enforcing compliance with the national minimum wage and the national living wage.
