Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what estimate he has made of additional resources required for proposed changes in NICE's processes to consider highly specialised technologies to take place.
This question was answered on 15th December 2016
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence has advised that it does not anticipate that additional resources will be required to implement the proposed changes to its highly specialised technologies programme.
