The Government has robust anti-smuggling controls and dynamic intelligence capabilities which will continue to prevent, deter, and detect illegal movements of goods enable us to enforce criminal and civil sanctions against those responsible for those movements. When Safety and Security declarations become mandatory for EU imports, they will provide an extra tool in our security processes.
