Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what the total value of fees charged by each constabulary in the North West of England under the Removal, Storage and Disposal of Vehicles (Prescribed Sums and Changes) Regulations 2008 was in 2015; and on how many occasions each of those constabularies waived such fees for victims of crime in that year.

We do not hold information centrally on the total amount of fees that each constabulary in the North West of England charged or waived in 2015 under the Removal, Storage and Disposal of Vehicles (Prescribed Sums and Changes) Regulations 2008. The decision to waive the charges is an operational matter for the police.
