We remain concerned about the human rights situation in Eritrea, including the arrest and continued detention of politicians, journalists and religious figures. FCO officials regularly press the Government of Eritrea to fulfil its international human rights obligations. We will continue to work with the international community to address ongoing human rights concerns in Eritrea as set out by the Early Day Motion (EDM) 504 of Session 2015-16.
