There are numerous charitable organisations that are available to help farmers as a result of financial hardship. If there are any claimants who are experiencing financial hardship they should contact the Rural Payments Agency who will make use of the Basic Payment Scheme Financial Support Payments process, in the interests of supporting farmers in financial need while they await payment on their 2016 BPS claim.
