To ask the Secretary of State for International Trade, which Government Minister represented the UK during EU discussions on its negotiating lines relating to geographical indications on the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement.

The Government took part in EU discussions on negotiating lines relating to geographical indicators for the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) in 2011, at which time the Minister of State for Trade and Investment was my noble friend Lord Green of Hurstpierpoint.
