The UK is working actively on the ground to support Brazil's efforts to tackle deforestation. Through the UK's International Climate Finance we run major programmes on both sustainable agriculture and deforestation. The UK is also committed to promoting and defending the human rights of all individuals including indigenous peoples. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and raise these critical issues in our dialogue with the Government.
