Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, whether he plans to make high definition cameras available on the NHS to detect and treat stomach cancer.

Trials using high-definition cameras to detect stomach cancer are currently underway. Non-specialised equipment is commissioned locally by clinical commissioning groups and they are responsible for ensuring that the services they commission meet the needs of their local population.
