The Government has made no firm decision on what medicines regulation will look like after the United Kingdom has left the European Union. Therefore, no decision has been taken on the UK’s future participation in the European Medicines Agency Procedure for Handling Rapid Alerts Arising from Quality Defects. The Government is considering all options for UK medicines regulation.
