This Government is committed to continuing improving access to public transport services for those with visible and hidden disabilities.

The Disabled Persons Transport Advisory Committee (DPTAC) has advised the Department on the broad content and scope of the Accessibility Action Plan. The Department has also sought input from organisations representing disabled people with different impairment types, including the National Autistic Society. We will ensure that the Accessibility Action Plan improves the accessibility of public transport for autistic people.
