NHS Protect: Contracts

Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, which companies hold the contracts for NHS Protect and related counter-fraud investigations; what the value of those contracts is; and how much revenue those contracts produce in recouped funds and fines.

NHS Protect is the National Health Service body responsible for co-ordinating anti-crime work in the NHS in England. Contracts for the delivery of counter fraud services at a local level are negotiated by individual NHS bodies and information on these is not held centrally.
