Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, with reference to the letter of 10 May 2018 from David Metcalfe and Dr Stephen Ledbetter of the Centre for Window and Cladding Technology to the Chair of the Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee, whether following the referenced 2014 meeting to discuss fire performance of facades including the issue of combustible materials his Department agreed that the Building Research Establishment would draft a Frequently Asked Questions document that would confirm that the requirement for limited combustibility would be extended to cladding panels.
