The Prime Minister and numerous Government Ministers including my Rt. hon Friend the Secretary of State have engaged with both European Union (EU) and non-EU counterparts to galvanise action at the global level, through the G7, G20 and United Nations, to raise this issue up to the political agenda. We will continue to work closely with our international partners to implement the World Health Organization Global Action Plan on antimicrobial resistance, focusing on strengthening national action across all sectors.
