The Department recognises that the COVID-19 outbreak will be causing stress and uncertainty for many students, regardless of whether they were due to take examinations this year or not.

The Department also recognises that students who are studying GCSE or equivalent courses and are due to take examinations in 2021 will have experienced disruption to their education. We are working with the sector to consider how we can support them in light of this.
