The information requested is not currently held centrally. Local authorities are responsible for assessing individuals' eligibility for care and support, as set out in the Care Act 2014 and, where the individual is eligible for financial support, for meeting those needs.  The Health and Care Act 2022 includes a new duty for the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to review and make an assessment of local authorities’ delivery of adult social care duties, to ensure accessible, timely, high-quality care and support.
